A multi-sensory light and sound artwork allowing the audience to be immersed in cosmic light and sound. This continuous 15 minute audio-visual journey takes the spectator through the stars onto the very surface of the Sun. The soundscape includes real samples from NASA’s archives and is combined with an artistic visual interpretation of the files, bridging art and science. The artwork was exhibited at Copenhagen Light Festival, expanding over a space of 6 x 15 x 5 meters in an indoor venue. Our brief interview can be seen here and video of the artwork here.
Project was created in collaboration with fellow lighting designer Mariliis Kundla.
