OM

Pavilion OM was selected as a finalist at CHART Architecture. OM aims to boost social engagement under the unearthly pavilion, throughout its material qualities. The intention is to generate attraction, curiosity and surprise. The ventilation ducts create a sensory space, where wind becomes sounds and movement, voices are echoed, rain is redirected, light and surroundings reflected. During evenings hours, dynamic light-play brought this “Iron Man” to life.

You can find an article in Dezeen magazine here and in CHART Architecture here.

The pavilion was designed and built by international and interdisciplinary team, Claudia Cimpian, Marius Ardelean, Diana Mot and Mihkel Pajuste.
