Bluescapes

Bluescapes (full title: Gettin’ Lost in Bluescapes) is a subtle, mesmerising video installation exploring a magnetic pull toward blue — both as a color and as a state of being. At the center of this work lies a fascination with blue light, its physical properties, and its emotional resonance. Scientifically, blue light occupies wavelengths between 450 and 495 nanometers on the visible spectrum and plays a critical role in aligning our biological clock to the rhythm of the day. Beyond the science lies something deeper and more personal. For me, blue is a mindful landscape. A drifting thought. A clear blue sky infused with the energy of the Sun. A body of blue water inviting me to dive in. A state of immersion — calm and infinite.

The installation is exhibited as part of the Copenhagen Light Festival program at Danish Architecture Center.
